United Meeting

Meetings are our weekly activities at the Tempo magazine. The higher the number of meeting he/she must join, the higher his/her position in the Tempo "chain of command".

This is a picture from our annual December meeting--usually takes place at Tempo's villa near Puncak. The meeting discusses next year's editorial plans.

Of course, aside from meetings, we still do reportings, writings, and everything else.

Israel Anthem In A Children Song

Enno Lerian, now 25, sang some Indonesian children songs in early 90's. One of her song was titled "Du di dam", composed by Papa T Bob, a children song composer. Papa T Bob, of course, is an alias. His real name was Erwanda.

Du di dam's intro sounded a bit like HaTikva (The Hope), Israel's national anthem. Faster tempo in Lerian's song intro, though.

Maxgain And Cops?

Maxgain is a futures company based on Jakarta. Tens of its ex-employees, sometime ago, filed the company to Jakarta Police. They felt tricked by the company's policy on their "trading". Their cases are never heard again, but Maxgain is never proved acting against the law.

Here are two pics of a baloon in front of Jakarta Police HQ. The name Maxgain is printed on it, congratulating the police of its 62nd anniversary.

Jakarta Futures Exchange banned Maxgain, but it's still running as always. The baloon indicates it, too.

More information on Maxgain can be read in Eko Juniarto's blogs: Things Left Unsaid and Maxgain Scams.
